Prairie Chapter AGM
Missed our AGM in July? The next one is coming up – our Sierra Club Prairie Chapter in Edmonton is hosting their annual general meeting in September.
A note from Dave Greenfield, chairperson of the Sierra Club of Canada, Prairie Chapter:
Our 2012 annual general meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 18th at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be held at our Sierra Club office in Edmonton, and we will also provide a conference call line for members outside of Edmonton who wish to attend by phone.

One item on our agenda will be the election of a new Prairie Executive Committee. The Prairie Executive Committee is the body that plans and oversees the work of the Prairie Chapter. The chapter’s work is focused on those ecological issues that exist at a regional level. If you would be interested in getting more involved in our organization at a regional level, I invite you to consider becoming a member of our Prairie Executive Committee.
Other items on our agenda will include financial and activities reports, and some discussion about the work of our chapter and what we would like to see our chapter do in the coming year.
If your membership has lapsed in the past year, now is the time to renew it, prior to the upcoming annual general meeting. You can renew your membership online at www.sierraclub.ca.
